Dear Members, As of January 2017, Suite Life Vacations Club's affiliate contract with the Grand Mayan Resorts in Mexico will have expired. All members will continue to have access to these properties as an exchange destination and enjoy highly discounted rates at all of the Grand Mayan and Grand Bliss locations. The Mayan Palace and Bliss resorts will remain available as an affiliate. All Mayan, Bliss, Grand Mayan and Grand Bliss properties have implemented a mandatory resort fee effective immediately. The fee is $75us per week per unit and is paid to the resort directly upon check-in. This fee will cover Internet Access, Pick Up from Airport to Resort(only), Fitness Center Access, Daily Maid Service, Turn Down Service, Local Telephone Calls, Internal Resort Transportation, Welcome Cocktail, Daily newspaper (upon request), and Incoming Faxes. Until recently, each one of these amenities were charged separately and this will now save guests additional fees. Please note that this fee is an addition to the standard state/lodging taxes which have always been collected onsite. Many of you have come to favour these properties and although we are disappointed with the decision made by the supplier, we are grateful that it is still an option for our members. We recommend that for any members considering a winter vacation between January and March at these resorts begin their planning shortly to secure their accommodations as it is a very popular location.
